Understanding your Data & Privacy options

When creating your account with Airthings, you will be asked to consent to opt in or out of different data & privacy items. If you would like to update your choices after creating your account you can always do so by following these steps here.

By consenting, we’ll use your data, like app and website interactions, email, location and unique identifiers, to fine-tune our communications, and offerings across our services.

We hope to provide even more custom journeys for your experience in future iterations of the app.

Offers, news and tips

Opt in for our newsletter, marketing emails, exclusive promos, and the latest news from Airthings.

By opting out this will unsubscribe you from receiving our newsletter, marketing emails, exclusive promos, and the latest news from Airthings.

Connect with a professional

By opting in, when your levels are high, Airthings can recommend a trusted third-party professional who can evaluate your data and work with you to improve your air quality.

This service is currently only available in a select few geographical markets, and we aim to expand the coverage over time.

⚠️ IMPORTANT

This program will be coming soon and is in development. This will be a recommendation and you should always contact a professional immediately if you believe your levels for indoor air quality look abnormal. If you want to learn more about our sensor thresholds for our products select here for Wave series and here for View Series.

Weekly air reports

Get summaries of trends and insights into your air quality data sent to your email to help you breathe better air at home. These weekly reports will be sent via email.


How to update your Data & Privacy options

Step 1: Open the Airthings app and select Settings

Step 2: Select Data & Privacy

  • Toggle on or off the options in the list

  • Select Save when you are finished customizing your options

Error message

Unable to save or move forward

If your phone or tablet is not connected to the internet then an error message will prevent you from moving forward to Save. Please connect your phone or tablet to the internet via cellular or wifi data and try to select "Agree and continue" or "Save" again.
