Get professional advice: find a certified radon professional near you

How the Airthings app connects you with certified local radon mitigation professionals when your radon levels are high.

High radon levels at home? The Airthings app can now put you in touch with certified radon mitigation professionals in your area.

The "Get professional advice" feature is available in the USA, Canada and Norway from November 2, 2026. We are adding new areas and professionals regularly, so check back if your area is not covered yet.

How does it work?

Radon Insights in the Airthings app has a "See professionals in my area" button. Tap it to see the certified radon professionals who serve your area. If your radon levels are high, the app recommends getting professional advice.

For each professional, you see their name, logo and a short description. From there you can:

  • Call them directly from the app.

  • Visit their website to learn more about their services.

  • Ask to be contacted by tapping "Let a professional contact me". The professionals then reach out to you to discuss your situation and give you a quote.

The professionals are partners who pay to be listed in the app. They are shown in random order, so no one can pay to appear first.

What do I need to do?

  1. Set up a connected Airthings radon monitor in the Airthings app, such as the Corentium Home 2, Wave Plus, Wave Radon, View Radon or View Plus.

  2. Add your address or zip or postal code. If the app doesn't have your location yet, it asks you to type your address or zip or postal code, so it can find the professionals who serve your area.

  3. Let your monitor measure. Radon levels change from day to day, so a long-term average (30 days or more) gives the most reliable picture.

  4. Open Radon Insights in the app and tap "See professionals in my area". If no professional serves your area yet, the app tells you.

  5. Contact a professional: call, visit their website, or tap "Let a professional contact me".

  6. After mitigation, keep measuring. You can follow the effect of your new system with mitigation system tracking in the app.

Who are the professionals?

Every professional in the app holds the radon mitigation certification required where they work (for example NRPP, NRSB or a state licence in the USA, C-NRPP in Canada). We talk with every professional before they join.

Frequently asked questions

Does it cost anything?

No. It's completely free, with no obligation and no commitment.

I don't see any professionals in my app. Why?

  • The app may not have your address or zip or postal code yet.

  • There may not be a professional for your area yet. We are adding new ones regularly.

  • If you typed an address, try a more precise address or your zip or postal code.

What happens when I tap "Let a professional contact me"?

After you agree to share them, we send your email address, zip or postal code and latest radon average, plus your phone number if you add it, to the certified radon professionals in your area, so they can contact you. One, several or no professional may contact you.

Your information is only shared if you tap the button, and Airthings never sells your data.

Is Airthings responsible for the work?

No. The professionals are independent companies. Your agreement, price and warranty are with the professional you choose. We recommend asking for a quote and checking their references.

I had a problem with a professional. What should I do?
