We're gradually rolling out a new feature that lets you track your radon mitigation system directly in the Airthings app.
This feature will become available over the coming weeks, so you may not see it in your app right away.
What does it do?
You can use this feature to track changes in your radon levels and monitor the impact of your mitigation system.
How do I track my mitigation system?
Navigate to Radon Insights.
Click "Start mitigation system tracking".
Enter the date you installed your mitigation system. If you don't remember the exact date, your best estimate should work too.
Radon Insights will then update with:
A new post-mitigation average
A radon timeline showing your long-term radon average before and after mitigation
A graph of your radon values for the 30 days before and after mitigation
Note: the radon timeline and 30-day graph aren't available if you started mitigating more than 30 days ago.
Frequently asked questions
What is the post-mitigation average?
It's the average radon level calculated from the readings recorded since the date you selected as your mitigation start date. It shows you how your radon levels look after mitigation, compared to your long-term average before it.
My post-mitigation levels don't seem to change. What should I do?
Check that the date you selected is correct. You can restart the process with a different date.
Keep in mind this is only an indication, whether your install is DIY or professional. Double-check your system and monitor for some more time.
What does my post-mitigation average include?
It only includes readings recorded from your selected start date onward. It doesn't include readings from before mitigation, so it reflects your radon levels after your system was installed.
If I revert my mitigation tracking, will my data be deleted?
No. Mitigation tracking is only a visualization in the app, so your radon data will not be altered.
I don't understand the numbers I'm seeing. What should I do?
