Steps to take for troubleshooting finding your Wave monitor to connect to your Airthings Hub.

Q: I am having issues connecting my Wave monitors to the Airthings Hub, what should I do?

  • Ensure both your Wave monitor and Airthings Hub are in your account before configuring the Wave monitor to SmartLink connectivity.

  • Bluetooth must be enabled on your smartphone.

  • For Android, GPS location must be enabled for Bluetooth low energy to function properly. If it is already enabled, try activating Airplane mode for a few seconds and taking it off again.

  • You may not be close enough to the Wave monitor or there may be wireless interference. Keep your phone less than 1m / 3ft away from the Wave monitor and search for the device again.

  • If the monitor was already connected to an Airthings Hub, Bluetooth will not turn back on again.

  • Exit the “+ Add Device” screen and try to add the device again.
