The Hub is the heart of the Airthings Ecosystem. It acts as a connector for your Airthings devices and brings them online. When the Hub is not powered or not connected, the data of the devices will not be sent to the cloud.

If you're sure the Hub is working, you can go to the following step: My device is not working.

The Hub has 3 lights and they all need to light up:

  • Power: Make sure the Hub is powered. Check if the power button is green. If the power button is not green, plug the Hub into a different power source.

  • Internet connection: Does the Hub connect with the cloud? There are several things you can try:

    • The Hub has a built-in e-sim that connects automatically with the cloud once the Hub is powered. If you use the cellular connection, but the cloud is not green:

      • move the Hub towards a place with a better cellular connection

      • or connect the Hub over ethernet

    • If you connect the Hub over ethernet, please check your network settings. You find more info about this here.

  • Smartlink Connection: This means that at least 1 device is connected to the Hub. If the light is not green, check if your devices are working.

After you connected the Hub to the cloud, we recommend taking a look at the devices to see if they all work and are connected with the Hub. Here you find a troubleshooting guide for the devices.
