The reset button is located at the back of the View monitor and it serves several purposes. Use a pin or thin, pointed object to press the reset button at the back of the monitor.

  1. Long press (for 5 seconds) of the reset button will factory reset the monitor

  2. Short presses of the reset button will allow to scroll through information about the monitor.

To reset your monitor, press and hold the reset button for approx. 5 seconds. A countdown will appear on the View display:

IMPORTANT:

If you factory reset your View monitor, it will disconnect from WiFi and forget the Bluetooth bond it established. In order to get back up and running, you will need to do the following:

  1. Unpair the monitor from your account in the app

  2. Go to the Bluetooth settings in your phone settings and choose to unpair/forget the View monitor

  3. In the Airthings app, go to the device settings of your View monitor and select "Change WiFi" in order to reconnect. You will be prompted to Bluetooth pair again and then you will be able to proceed to the WiFi connection.

2. To scroll through more information about your View

By shortly pressing the reset button each time, you can view the following information:

1st Screen - Battery Level:

2nd Screen - USB connected

Note: this screen is only visible if the monitor is USB-connected. If the monitor is running on batteries, the 2nd screen will be the Wifi status below.

4th Screen - Wifi IP address and MAC address

5th Screen - Serial number of the monitor and pairing code

Note: the serial number is also available on a label at the back of the monitor where the batteries are stored
