The mold risk indicator is a feature of our Wave Mini which helps you to prevent mold growth by indicating your mold risk level on a scale of 1-10.

How does it work?
The mold risk indicator uses our algorithm which is based on 3 different factors to determine the risk for mold growth: temperature, humidity, and time.
The mold risk level is always based on the previous 48hours worth of data. During the initial start-up of your Wave Mini or changing rooms/locations, it will take 48 hours before you see your first mold risk indication.
The mold risk indicator is updated 1x an hour and is part of a rolling 48 hours worth of measurements.
Understanding the mold risk scale
Green (risk level 0-3): Good. Little risk for mold growth, but there is always a possibility for mold above 0.
Yellow (risk level 3-5): Fair. Mold will grow especially on vulnerable materials such as textiles and wood.
Red (risk level 5-10): Poor. There is a high mold risk for all kinds of materials.
