The Mold Risk Indicator is a feature of our Wave Mini used to detect the risk of mold growth which typically grows in conditions with high humidity.

When using the mold risk indicator feature of the Wave Mini, you must aim to place the Mini in the most humid areas of the room. The Airthings Wave Plus and Wave detectors contain the Airthings radon sensor, which is sensitive to high humidity and can become damaged if exposed to levels of humidity greater than 80%. For this reason, the Wave Mini without the radon sensor, is the ideal monitor for our mold risk indicator!
