No, it does not!

Our Home (and, in fact, all our devices) are put through rigorous testing processes before they enter the market. The value of a digital device is that it will notify a user when an error occurs. In addition, the device always auto-calibrates to the environment.

Similar to smoke and CO detectors, our radon detectors are like any thermostat or air quality detector you would buy, it is accurate within its lifetime (an expected 10 years) unless it is operated in an unconventional way.

Our Corentium Home monitor does not require calibration as long as it is exposed to an environment with Humidity levels lower than 85%.

This means that for an average user, the Home does not require any maintenance work. We recommend you always use your monitor indoor: our radon devices are not meant to be used outdoor.
