How To Turn Off The Screen Of My "Corentium Plus" instrument?
Updated over a week ago

In some cases, you may want to turn off the screen of your Corentium Plus: this might be because you are a professional and are deploying your unit in one of your customers' home, or maybe because you simply do not want to constantly check every single short-term fluctuation of your Radon levels.

In this case, you can turn off the screen by switching to the so-called anonymous display, where the radon values are not shown: when this mode is active, the only thing displayed on the screen is the number of days measured.

Here below is the procedure to turn off the screen of your Corentium Plus (Corentium Home users should read this article, instead):

Normally the display shows something like this:

By pressing 16 times the MODE button the display shows a menu where one can change the display by changing the code. The display now shows:

The anonymous mode is activated by pressing the MODE button to change the 'new value'. For the Corentium Home, these are the values to use:

NEW VALUE FOR NORMAL DISPLAY -> 1 or 2 (depending on the model version)

NEW VALUE FOR ANONYMOUS MODE DISPLAY -> 9 or 10 (depending on the model version)

In other words, all you need to do to turn off your screen (and activate the anonymous mode) is press the MODE button until the ‘new value’ becomes "8".

Once you reach the number "8", please wait for 20 seconds. After 20 seconds the display will show this:

The display now shows only the number of measured days. If you press the MODE button once, the display quickly shows the long-term average, for a few seconds.

If you want to turn on the screen again (and set the unit back to the normal mode), you simply go through the same procedure, but change the 'new value' back to "0":

- press the MODE button 16 times to access the "Code" screen;

- press the MODE button repeatedly until the 'new value' is "0" instead of "8".

The screen now shows something like this:

Please wait for 20 seconds and the display will go back to the usual screen:
